European universities are known for their high quality education, and they are also a great choice for international students. Whether you want to study in a small town or in a big city, the European continent has a university that will suit your needs.

The University of Barcelona has an undergraduate student membership that exceeds 14,000 and is one of the largest in Catalunya. In addition to undergraduate students, there are around 2,300 international students from over 160 countries studying at the university. The university focuses on four main areas: Mediterranean Studies, Business & Economics, Sciences and Engineering.

United Kingdom
The United Kingdom’s leading universities are the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge. They are ranked first and second respectively in the world. Oxford is a collegiate university with 44 constituent colleges, founded in 1209 by a group of scholars fleeing from the persecution of English Catholics. It is one of the oldest universities in the world, and its reputation for excellence has been recognized throughout its history. It is consistently ranked as one of the best universities in both Europe and worldwide. Cambridge is a collegiate university with 31 constituent colleges, which was founded by scholars from many countries studying at the University of Oxford. It has been ranked as one of the world’s top ten universities since 2011-12 in both subject areas according to QS World University Rankings and The Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
Best universities in Europe, Germany
The German higher education system is subdivided into three types of institutions: universities, colleges, and technical colleges. There are over 300 universities in Germany, including some of the world’s oldest and most prestigious institutions, such as the University of Heidelberg (established in 1386) and the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg (established in 1743). Universities have a long tradition in Germany, with universities founded in the 13th century, such as the University of Freiburg. The first day at university was a bit overwhelming for me. I had to get used to new people, new environment, new teachers and new classrooms. But it was all worth it! I have met so many interesting people from different countries and cultures, I have learned so many things about their way of life and culture. And most importantly, I am now able to see things from different perspectives which will help me in my future career as a manager with an international company.
