Harihar Fort Trek- A Memorable Experience
INTRODUCTION:
Harihar fort appears to be a rectangle from its valley. It is built on the prism of a triangular rock. Its three faces and two edges are 90 degrees straight. The third slope to the west is tilted 75 degrees. Stone-shaped stone stairs with horizontal ridges are carved to ascend and descend at Hari har gad Fort.you also go for Delhi to auli .
There are 117 steps in total. After climbing a large rocky stairway, we walk under an overhang with just one drop. And one has to go up a steep, steep staircase, and then go up the steps inside the rock-like Peth Fort or Kothaligad Fort and reach the top of the Fort. After climbing the stairs, we climb to the door. Fort Harihar Nashik has a soft plateau with a raised level in the middle. There is a small temple of King Hanuman and King Shiva on the plain.
OVERVIEW:
Leaving here, we come across a two-room palace. 10 to 12 people can be accommodated in the palace. One of the direct drops of Fort Harihar overlooking the Nirgudpada valley is called ‘Scottish Kada’, probably because it was first ridden in November 1986 by Doug Scott, a famous Himalayan climber and it took him two days to climb. The cliff is about 170 feet [170 m] high. Photos of Harihar Fort are available in our photo gallery.

Detailed information on Harihar Fort
Harihar Fort is a historic fortress located in the Nashik region of Maharashtra, India. Sahyadri Fortress lies at an altitude of 12,000 feet [3,676 m] from the coast. It was built on the edge of a hill that looked rectangular from the valley below; During the reign of Yadava, the fortress of Harihar was built on a triangular mountain with nearly vertical peaks.
Harihar Fort Nasik is known for its steep steps that lead directly to the top of this solid rock structure. People like to take pictures on these stairs because they are steep, about eighty degrees.
Enclosed in the subtle silence of this ancient Fort there are statues depicting Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman, and Nandi, and a small quiet lake!
On a clear day, a view from Fort Harihar can be a breath of fresh air. You have a good point to see the castles here, such as Bhaskargad or Basgad, Anjaneri fort, Brahmagiri Trek Nasik, Bhandardurg, Vaitarna lake, and Utwad fort, to name a few castles near Nashik.
Leopards and other large animals, vultures, hawks, hawks, and eagles are often seen in the forest floor. Photos of Harihar Fort are open to our photo gallery.
The fascinating history of Harihar fort
In 1818 a British nobleman named Briggs conquered Harihargad. The English strategy was to use the cannon to destroy defenses and highways. As a result, many Forts, steps, routes and trails were destroyed by the British. The beauty of the stairs of the Harihar castle carved into the rock, on the other hand, amazed her. Captain Briggs left the Fort complete and did not destroy the steps of the Harihar Fort building.
Things to look for in the Harihar Fort Trek
The famous Fort steps lead to the top of FortFort. Climbing the nearly vertical stairs at the summit of Harihar is a very interesting aspect of mountain climbing.
In stone, these small steps are made. There are notes carved on the stone cutting stairs that help you hold on as you climb up to the first door and help you not to fall as you go up.
If you are afraid of heights, do not look back as you climb the stairs. It’s scary to see how many stairs you’ve already climbed. On the other hand, looking back allows you to see the whole universe unfolding in front of you! Direct view is no longer in the world for travelers.
Accommodation and Food Options
The village of Nirgudpada offers home accommodation. Harshewadi is not advanced in terms of food and accommodation arrangements. There are a few roadblocks to try.
For a more enjoyable experience, hikers can pitch their tents overnight. The plain is initially a good place to get close to the lower villages. There is Kothi on the castle. Camping anywhere at the top is possible. Both options are undoubtedly very dangerous, but deceptive due to strong winds, and can be especially dangerous during the rainy season.
